BMC Engineering recently completed a comprehensive trailer repair to prepare it for its upcoming Warrant of Fitness (WoF) inspection. The primary issue was with the main drawbar, which had suffered structural fatigue and was no longer fit for safe use. Our team assessed the damage and fabricated a new drawbar to match the trailer’s specifications, ensuring it met both strength and compliance requirements.

In addition to the drawbar replacement, the existing metal channel profile was worn and corroded. We removed the damaged section and installed a new, heavy-duty channel to restore the trailer’s structural integrity. All welds were thoroughly checked and finished to a high standard, and the trailer was given a final inspection to ensure it was roadworthy and ready to pass the WoF with confidence.
